The Path of Czech Egyptology.

We cordially invite you to the exhibition The Path of Czech Egyptology.

The exhibition presents the history of Czech Egyptology, its greatest archaeological achievements and its journey across scientific fields, as the research team of the Czech Institute of Egyptology at Charles University includes specialists from many different scientific fields, from archeology and the Egyptian language to research on climate change, the development of religious ideas, flora and fauna or the use of cybernetic models in the study of ancient Egyptian society.

We have prepared a SPECIAL GUIDED TOUR taking place on November 12, 2022 at 2 p.m.; in English and Czech language. The tour will be led by the director of the Czech Institute of Egyptology, Jiří Janák, together with the photographer of the Czech Institute of Egyptology, Petr Košárek.

SATURDAY, 12 NOVEMBER 2022 AT 14:00

The venue: Embassy of the Czech Republic in Cairo, 4 Al Dokki St, Dokki, 12511 Giza. The exhibition is outdoors and is located on the embassy wall.

يعرض المعرض تاريخ علم المصريات التشيكي وأعظم إنجازاته الأثرية ورحلته عبر المجالات العلمية ، حيث يضم فريق البحث من المعهد التشيكي لعلم المصريات بجامعة تشارلز متخصصين من العديد من المجالات العلمية المختلفة ، من علم الآثار واللغة المصرية إلى البحث في تغير المناخ وتطور الأفكار الدينية والنباتات والحيوانات أو استخدام النماذج الإلكترونية في دراسة المجتمع المصري القديم.

لقد أعددنا جولة إرشادية خاصة في 12 نوفمبر 2022 الساعة 2 ظهرًا ؛ باللغتين الإنجليزية والتشيكية. سيقود الجولة مدير المعهد التشيكي لعلم المصريات ، جيري ياناك ، مع مصور المعهد التشيكي لعلم المصريات ، بيتر كوشاريك.

La mostra presenta la storia dell’egittologia ceca, le sue più grandi conquiste archeologiche e il suo viaggio attraverso i campi scientifici, poiché il team di ricerca dell’Istituto ceco di egittologia dell’Università Carlo comprende specialisti di molti campi scientifici diversi, dall’archeologia e la lingua egizia alla ricerca su il cambiamento climatico, lo sviluppo di idee religiose, flora e fauna o l’uso di modelli cibernetici nello studio della società dell’antico Egitto.

Abbiamo preparato una VISITA GUIDATA SPECIALE che si terrà il 12 novembre 2022 alle 14:00; in lingua inglese e ceca. Il tour sarà guidato dal direttore dell’Istituto ceco di egittologia, Jiří Janák, insieme al fotografo dell’Istituto ceco di egittologia, Petr Košárek.
