في هذه المحاضرة بعنوان ” أرشيف القاهرة المملوكية”، يصحبنا الدكتور عماد أبو غازي في رحلة عبر الوثائق التاريخية لفهم عمارة وتخطيط القاهرة في العصر المملوكي، كاشفًا عن تفاصيل دقيقة تغيب كثيرًا عن السرديات التقليدية.

The Mamluk Archive of Cairo
A lecture by Dr Emad Abou-Ghazi on the city’s transformations during the Mamluk period.

MASQ — the Multicultural and Artistic Spaces at Qaitbey’s — is delighted to invite you to a special lecture as part of the “Cairo, My Love” – Episode II. We are honoured to welcome Dr Emad Abou-Ghazi — Professor of Archival Studies at Cairo University, and one of Egypt’s most prominent scholars — to shed light on the essential role of archives in understanding Cairo’s urban transformations during the Mamluk period.
