Talk & Q&A
We are happy to announce a talk by the Austrian professor for Game Design and Media Studies: “Designing Games for Change”
The games industry has seen remarkable growth in recent decades, surpassing the combined revenues of the film and music industries. Yet the promises of games becoming a primary educational medium and revolutionizing the workplace have largely gone unfulfilled. This talk will explore the potential power of game design and the current barriers in effectively harnessing that power. It will also share insights from developing games that encourage players to reflect on and reexamine their own behavior, attitudes and values to foster a better society.
