دعوة مفتوحة للتقدم لورشة مفقود موجود أزلي

نظمت ستوديوخانة الدورة الأولى من الورشة عام 2018 في حديقة الطفل بالزمالك، والتي أتت من اهتمام بإمكانات العمل الجماعي والعمل في المساحات الخارجية في القاهرة. في الدورة الثانية، من اهتمام بالعمل الفني في المساحات العامة، والعمل الفني الذي يحتك بمكان بعينه.
على مدار شهر من اللقاءات المتواصلة، نتحرك بين ثلاثة أماكن ذات طبائع ووظائف مختلفة: متحف الفن الحديث بالأوبرا، ومكتبة مصر العامة بمصر الجديدة، وبيت السناري بالسيدة زينب. سنتعرف على المساحات وتاريخها ومحيط عملها وسنحاول معًا التفكير في مفاهيم وتصنيفات مثل المكان العام والمكان التاريخي وفهم الحدود المختلفة للعمل في كل مساحة كما هي، والبحث عن طرق مختلفة للتفاعل معها ومع ما تمثله من حدود.
يعمل المشاركون مع الفنانة سيلين بيروزو وفريق ستوديوخانة في جلسات نقاش مفتوحة وجلسات عمل جماعي على تطوير أفكار أو أعمال فنية للتفاعل مع المساحات التي سنزورها. نبحث عن محاولات متنوعة للتفاعل مع الأماكن والاحتمالات مفتوحة تمامًا: من الفوتوغرافيا أو الفيديو أو اللفتات الأدائية والتفاعلية وحتى المقترحات الطموحة (المتخيلة أو المستحيلة) سواء تم تقديمها عن طريق النصوص أو الرسم أو المجسمات أو العروض الأدائية. نأمل أن مناقشة هذه الأفكار والتفكير في طرق تقديمها، سيفتح لنا مجالًا لمناقشة الإمكانات والمساحات المتاحة لنا.
*مدة الورشة
تمتد الورشة طوال شهر سبتمبر بالأساس، بواقع 14 مقابلة في المدة ما بين 8 و23 سبتمبر (تبدأ المقابلات في الرابعة عصرًا). سيقام معرض جماعي في شهر نوفمبر ما سيستدعي لقاءات متفرقة طوال شهري أكتوبر ونوفمبر.

متحف الفن الحديث في الأوبرا ومكتبة مصر العامة بمصر الجديدة وبيت السناري بالسيدة زينب بواقع أربع لقاءات في كل مكان.
*لمن؟
هذه الورشة للفنانين من كافة المجالات والأعمار المستعدين لحضور المقابلات في شهر سبتمبر، بالأخص ممن لديهم اهتمام مبدأي بالعمل في المساحات العامة.
*اللغة
تقام الورشة باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية، سنعمل معًا على تيسير الترجمة والتواصل بين المشاركين وبيروزو.

Open Call: Lost, Found, Eternal Workshop

In 2018, Studiokhana for Contemporary Art worked to put together the first edition of the Lost, Found, Eternal workshop. Departing from an interest in the possibilities of Land Art and questions around working together and working outside in Cairo. The second edition of the workshop will take place in September between three different locations: Museum of Egyptian Modern Art, Heliopolis Public Library, and Bayt El-Sennari. With a focus on the Site-specific artwork, we aim to spend time exploring each of these locations and learning about their histories or current fields of work, and ultimately finding ways to engage with each space as it is, taking into consideration all the limitations.
Together with artist Celine Peruzzo and over the course of a month, participants are to meet in these locations, engage in discussions and collective work, with the aim of developing concepts to engage with one or more of the spaces, these concepts can be carried out and documented in the space in the form of images, videos, or ephemeral and/or performative gestures, but they can also be hypothetical (or impossible); expressed through detailed sketches, models, or texts. We aim that through our discussions, we can think of resourceful ways to work with what we have.
*Duration:
The workshop takes place mainly in September, with 14 consecutive outdoor meetings between the 8th and the 23rd of September. A final exhibition will be held by the end of November which will require sporadic meetings through the month of October and November.
*Locations:
The workshop will take place between three different locations: Museum of Egyptian Modern Art (Opera house), Heliopolis Public Library, and Bayt El-Sennari (Sayeda Zeinab).
*Who can apply?
Artists of all disciplines and ages who will be available for consecutive meetings during the month of September, preferably with an interest in the notion of public space and artistic interventions.
*Language:
The workshop will be carried out in Arabic and English, we will work to facilitate communication between Peruzzo and the participants where necessary.
