Hebba (Mona Zaki), animatrice télévisée en vogue, diffuse un talk-show nocturne sur Sun TV. De banales et anodines au départ, les émissions parlent de plus en plus des femmes et finissent par dresser un terrible tableau de la condition féminine en Égypte, sur fond de dissolution des mœurs et d’obscurantisme religieux conjugués. Mais cela ne plaît pas à tout le monde, et en premier lieu, au compagnon de Hebba, Karim (Hassan El Raddad). Il est rédacteur en chef adjoint d’un journal appartenant au gouvernement et vise le poste de rédacteur en chef. Or les émissions de sa femme risquent de porter un coup fatal à cette ambition…

Hebba (Mona Zaki), a popular TV host, broadcasts a nightly talk-show on Sun TV. From being banal and anodyne at first, the programs talk more and more about women and end up painting a terrible picture of the female condition in Egypt, against the backdrop of the dissolution of morals and religious obscurantism combined. But this does not please everyone, and in the first place, Hebba’s companion, Karim (Hassan El Raddad). He is the deputy editor of a government-owned newspaper and is aiming for the position of editor-in-chief. But his wife’s broadcasts may deal a fatal blow to this ambition…
