ارمِ حجرًا في مياه راكدة، وستغيّره التموجات إلى الأبد. يمثل “أمواج هُنَّ ” الحجر والحركة في الوقت نفسه – معرض فوتوغرافي يحتضن اليوم العالمي للمرأة، مُطلقًا موجات من قصص وروايات النساء من مختلف أنحاء أفريقيا، ويعيد تشكيل مياه الزمن.”
هبة خميس مصورة مستقلة وباحثة بصرية مصرية مهتمة بجوهر الممارسة والأبعاد النفسية لعملية توثيق القضايا الاجتماعية الحساسة وتأثيرها. قبل ذلك ارتكزت اعمالها حول مفهوم الجسد مع الالتزام بمبدأ “عدم الإضرار”. في عامي 2018 و2019 فازت أعمالها الفوتوغرافية “الجمال المحظور” و”الطيور السوداء” بالجائزة الأولى والثانية على التوالي في مسابقة “وورلد برس فوتو” ضمن جوائز دولية أخرى.

Throw a stone into stagnant water, and the ripples transform it forever. “Her Waves” is both the stone and the movement—a photo exhibition embracing International Women’s Day, awakening waves of women’s stories and narratives from across Africa, reshaping the waters of time.
Heba Khamis is an ُEgyptian independent photographer and visual researcher focuses on the core of the practice, the psychological aspects of the documenting process of sensitive social issues and its impact. For a while her work was centred around the theme body while adhering to the “do no harm” principle. In 2018-2019 her Banned Beauty and Black Birds photo series won first and second prize respectively at the World Press Photo contest among other international awards.
