يقدم مصمما الرقص سلفاتوري كاتالدو وإيليا جيلين برنامجًا مزدوجًا: عرضان رقص في ليلة واحدة! كلا الفنانين من أصول غير عربية، ويعيشان في مصر ويعملان على المستوى الدولي. يستخدمان حرفتهم للتنقل عبر بيئات مختلفة. في هذه البرنامج المزدوج يقدم كل منهم قطعة من تجربتهم في العالم العربي.

هي مذكرات حركة شخص يجد موطنًا له في العديد من الأماكن. يتعلق الأمر بالوحدة والانفصال ومتعة كونك غريبًا. حول التنقل بين أماكن مختلفة، وحقائق مختلفة، وانماط مختلفة من الوجود. من الانغماس الكامل إلى المراقبة من بعيد. التحول من خلال التكرار. هذا العمل هو محاول حريصة لتجنب الخدر الحسي، وتذكير للعب.
أعزائي الأطفال:
يتم قصف المدينة، في حين يبدو أن الإنسانية عاجزة. في عالم مزدحم، حيث يشعر البشر بالعجز، هل علي أن أستقيل، أم أن إيماءاتي وأفعالي لا تزال لها قيمة؟ ماذا يحدث إذا قمت، كفنان استعراضي، برواية قصتي عن هذا الحدث من خلال فني الخاص بي؟
هل سأتمكن على الأقل من الحفاظ على بعض الكرامة التي فقدناها جميعًا كبشر بسبب الصمت والاستسلام؟
هل سأكون أقل موتاً؟

International dancer-choreographers Salvatore Cataldo & Ilja Geelen present a double bill dance night: two solo pieces in one night! Both artists are of non-Arabic origins, living in Egypt and working internationally. They use their craft to navigate through different environments. In this double bill they each present a piece coming out of their experience in the Arab World.

RE:Set is the movement diary of someone who finds home in many places. It’s about the loneliness, the dissociation and the joy of being a stranger. About shifting between different places, different realities and different modes of existing. From fully immersed to distantly observing. Transformation through repetition. This solo is an anxious attempt to avoid sensory numbness, and a reminder to play.
DEAR CHILDREN
The city is being bombed, while humanity is apparently helpless. On a crowded world, where humans feel impotent, am I to resign, or do my gestures and actions still have a value? What happens if I, as a performer, tell my story of this event through my (He)art ?
Will I be able to keep at least some of the dignity that, as humans, we have all lost though silence and resignation?
Will I be less dead?
