Austrian sisters Mira and Sara Gregorič form the DUO SONOMA. Together, they weave a seamless tapestry of classical music, tango, jazz improvisation, folk melodies, contemporary and ‘new music’. Drawing from their diverse backgrounds in rhythmic, classical and jazz studies they craft a unique and extraordinary synthesis of sounds. The duo invites you on a musical journey that transcends genres, promising an enchanting blend of tradition and innovation.

About Duo Sonoma:
Mira and Sara Gregorič have been making music together for over 20 years, which is reflected in their unique musical interaction. The sisters studied music at the renowned University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz, Austria. In 2021 they released their first CD entitled “DUO SONOMA – I”, representing a collection of their own compositions to date. Besides international performances in Italy, Germany, Spain and Hungary, they have worked in interdisciplinary artistic collaborations in Austria.
