Cervantes Prize. Juan Mercier  

The Reading Club will continue its last session in the current session, and will present on this occasion the Catalan writer Joan Marce (Barcelona 1933-2020), winner of the 2008 Cervantes Prize. We get to know the author of “Last Evenings with Teresa” through a selection of stories, including: “Novel Informants”, “Nothing to Die”, “Street of the Sleeping Dragon” and “Lieutenant Bravo” Juan Marce is a central figure of the generation of the half-century in Barcelona, ​​to which many great authors such as Jaime Gil de Piedma, Carlos Barrell and Juan Gottisolo belong. The appreciation of his works ranks him among the best Spanish novelists of the second half of the twentieth century   Participants: Mariam Ibrahim Hadhoud, hispanista Notes: The session will be held in the activities hall of the institute, with all precautionary measures being taken for the safety and health of participants and staff: necessary disinfectants, a mask must be worn, maximum attendance of 30 people, appropriate social distancing.

يسترسل نادي القراءة جلسته الأخيرة في الدورة الحالية، ويقدم في تلك المناسبة الكاتب الكاتالوني خوان مارسيه (برشلونة 1933-2020)، الحائز على جائزة ثربانتس لعام 2008. نتعرف على مؤلف “الأمسيات الأخيرة مع تيريسا” من خلال مجموعة مختارة من القصص، من بينها: “رواية مخبرين” و”لا شئ للموت” و”شارع التنين النائم” و”الملازم برافو” يعد خوان مارسيه شخصية محورية لجيل نصف القرن في برشلونة، الذي ينتمي له العديد من المؤلفين العظماء مثل خايمي خيل دي بييدما وكارلوس باريل وخوان جوتيسولو. تقدير أعماله يصنفه ضمن أفضل الروائيين الإسبان في النصف الثاني من القرن العشرين

الملاحظات : سوف تُعقد الجلسة في قاعة الأنشطة بالمعهد، مع استيفاء جميع الإجراءات الاحترازية من أجل سلامة وصحة المشاركين والموظفين: المطهرات اللازمة، يجب ارتداء الكمامة، الحد الأقصى للحضور 30 شخص، تباعد اجتماعي ملائم.

Il Circolo di lettura proseguirà la sua ultima sessione nella sessione in corso e presenterà in questa occasione la scrittrice catalana Joan Marce (Barcellona 1933-2020), vincitrice del Premio Cervantes 2008. Conosciamo l’autore di “Last Evenings with Teresa” attraverso una selezione di racconti, tra cui: “Novel Informants”, “Nothing to Die”, “Street of the Sleeping Dragon” e “Lieutenant Bravo” Juan Marce è una figura centrale della generazione del mezzo secolo a Barcellona, ​​a cui appartengono molti grandi autori come Jaime Gil de Piedma, Carlos Barrell e Juan Gottisolo. L’apprezzamento delle sue opere lo colloca tra i migliori romanzieri spagnoli della seconda metà del XX secolo
