عن العرض:
بالنسبة لبعض الناس، الأشجار هي ذكرياتهم، الشيء الوحيد الثابت في حياتهم، بينما بالنسبة للآخرين الأشجار ليست سوى أعواد خشبية واقفة! يمنح هؤلاء الأشخاص أنفسهم الحق في فعل ما يريدون للأشجار؛ نحت أسمائهم عليها، الرسم عليها بالألوان البلاستيكية، تقطيعها، تزيينها، وتغيير شكلها كما يحلو لهم! يشبه إلى حد ما، ما يفعله البشر تجاه بعضهم وقدرتهم على إيذاء الآخرين بدون سبب.
آش هو مشروع لأداء تفاعلي يضع عنوانًا رئيسيًا للجرائم التي يرتكبها البشر ضد الطبيعة على مدار آلاف السنين. ورفع مستوى الوعي تجاه البيئة وتغير المناخ عن طريق الفن.
* آش هو إله مصري قديم كان يحمي الواحة وفقًا للأساطير المصرية.
سيتبع العرض نقاش حول الفنون وتغير المناخ بمشاركة:
– شادي خليل، ناشط بيئي والشريك المؤسس لمؤسسة جرينيش.

Synopsis:
For some people Trees are their memories, their one constant thing in their lives, while for others Trees are nothing, but wooden sticks standing! Those people gives themselves the right to do whatever they want to The Trees, Carve their names on it, painting it with
plastic colors, chopping them, decorating them and changing their forms and shapes as they like! A bit like what humans do to each with their ability to hurt others for no reason.
ASH is a project of an interactive performance that puts a headline over the crimes that have been done and still ongoing against nature over thousands of years by us humans; and raise awareness towards the environment and climate change by art.
*ASH is an ancient Egyptian God that used to protect the oasis according to the Egyptian mythology.
The performance will be followed by a Panel discussion about art and climate change with the speakers:
– Sarah Rifaat I Theater performer and environmental educator.
– Shady Khalil I environmental activist & Co-founder of “Greenish”.
– Sami Daoud I The excutive manager of Breaking Walls Festival.
