EUNIC (EU National Institutes for Culture) is the European network of organizations engaging in cultural relations, with 17 existing members as of present.

EUNIC supports cultural and artistic projects in creative industries sectors which vary from cinema, music, theatre, performing arts to literature, visual arts, design, crafts and creative economy projects 

The EUNIC contributions are underpinned by the EECP (Egyptian-European Cultural Program) which is funded by the EU Delegation in Egypt together with  EUNIC Egypt Cluster.

Since its first phase in 2019 the EECP has implemented many projects and initiatives, by providing various opportunities to many Egyptian institutions and actors in different fields, while paving the way to create an environment where organisational culture and project management skills are enhanced, and artists/performers are professionalised.

EECP’s primary aim is to strengthen the European-Egyptian cultural engagement as a driving force for sustainable social and economic development in Egypt, by supporting Egyptian independent artists, practitioners and cultural organisations. In addition, the ECCP focuses on the projects of collaboration with the partners and the stakeholders, ultimately benefiting broader local communities and creating an environment of mutual partnerships and sustainability.

• Residency Program for European Artists
• Capacity Building Program
• Art Festivals
• Europe Month Program
