XXIV Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel mondo: L’Italiano e il  libro: il mondo fra le righe 

• Lunedì 14 ottobre – ore 17 – Teatro IIC 

Inaugurazione della fiera settimanale del libro, dedicata alle opere tradotte dall’arabo in italiano, in collaborazione con l’editrice Osiris.

Durante l’evento, verrà premiata la Dott.ssa Fatmaelzahraa Abdalla, vincitrice del concorso per traduttori dall’italiano all’arabo “M’Illumino d’immenso”, bandito in collaborazione con l’Ambasciata Svizzera in Egitto e le Biblioteche di Roma. Interverrà il Prof. Islam Fawzi, e verranno proiettati due video in cui la poetessa svizzera Laura Accerboni legge una delle poesie da tradurre, seguita dalla vincitrice che leggerà le sue due traduzioni in arabo. Successivamente, sarà presentata una selezione dei Racconti dei partecipanti al Premio Energheia Egitto, pubblicati sul sito dell’Istituto Italiano di Cultura del Cairo. Il concorso, organizzato nel 2022 e 2023 dall’associazione culturale Energheia di Matera in collaborazione con l’Istituto, ha visto la partecipazione di 22 autori, molti dei quali studenti del corso di scrittura creativa della Prof.ssa Silvana Muzzatti, i cui contributi, scritti in italiano e a tema libero, sono stati raccolti nell’antologia I racconti. Infine, premiazione degli studenti dei dipartimenti di Italianistica delle università egiziane, vincitori dei concorsi della SLIM 2024, banditi dall’Istituto.

Incontro con gli studenti della Scuola Don Bosco di Alessandria.

A seguire, nell’ambito delle celebrazioni del VII centenario della morte di Marco Polo (1324-2024) e del 770°  anniversario della sua nascita (1254-2024) proiezione del docufilm “Marco Polo: il grande viaggiatore”.

• Mercoledì 16 ottobre – ore 18:00 – Teatro IIC

Conferenza: “Progetti di traduzione” a cura del Prof. Eid Abdelrazek.

Nel corso di un dibattito aperto al pubblico, sarà presentata una dispensa che raccoglie i contributi degli studenti di italiano del livello più avanzato per le traduzioni di brani tratti da opere come Vent’anni contro: dall’eredità di Falcone e Borsellino alla trattativa (Caselli-Ingroia), Non chiedermi chi sono (Trapanese), La mia patria sono io (Yasmin), Raccontare ai ragazzi (Contardi), C’era una volta… storie di animali (Mauri), Un giorno diverso (Dominici).

A seguire, la premiazione degli studenti del Dipartimento di Italianistica dell’Università del Cairo per la loro partecipazione al concorso SLIM 2024.

Premiazione degli studenti della Scuola Don Bosco del Cairo, vincitori del bando di concorso IIC SLIM 2024.

A seguire, nell’ambito  delle celebrazioni del VII centenario della morte di Marco Polo (1324-2024) e del 770°  anniversario della sua nascita (1254-2024) proiezione del docufilm “Marco Polo: il  grande viaggiatore”.

• Domenica 20 ottobre – ore 19:00 – Galleria IIC

Mostra d’arte visiva, intitolata “IL RITORNO NEL GIORNO”: disegni e taccuini di viaggio dell’artista italo-svizzera Sighanda Dominique. Il concetto originale della mostra è basato sull’idea di ricreare, nello spazio espositivo, gli itinerari percorsi dall’artista tra la piana di Giza, la necropoli di Saqqara e le visite ai musei del Cairo e di Torino. L’installazione presenterà disegni, taccuini, tavole, gigantografie e oggetti che rappresentano la filosofia di Sighanda, riflettendo la sua antica attitudine di artista e comunicatrice.

Workshop dell’Artista Dominique Sighanda Carnet de Voyage. Il workshop di Dominique Sighanda è dedicato agli studenti egiziani delle facoltà di Belle Arti delle Università di Ain Shams e del Cairo. Sighanda ha esplorato la cultura egizia, antica e contemporanea, attraverso visite ai luoghi delle tombe dei faraoni, portando con sé l’ispirazione per il suo lavoro.

الأسبوع الرابع والعشرين للغة الإيطالية في العالم: الإيطالية والكتاب: العالم بين السطور

 الاثنين الرابع عشر من  أكتوبر – الساعة الخامسة  مساءً – مسرح المعهد الثقافي الأيطالي –   

افتتاح معرض كتاب لمدة أسبوع بالمعهد الثقافي الأيطالي مخصص للأعمال المترجمة من العربية إلى الإيطالية، بالتعاون مع دار النشر أوزيريس، في فناء  المعهد الثقافي الأيطالي

كما سيتم تكريم الدكتورة فاطمة الزهراء عبد الله، الفائزة بمسابقة “M’Illumino d’immenso” للمترجمين من الإيطالية إلى العربية، التي تم إطلاقها بالتعاون مع السفارة السويسرية في مصر ومكتبات روما.

وسيشارك البروفيسور إسلام فوزي، كما سيتم عرض فيديوهين تقرأ فيهما الشاعرة السويسرية لورا أكيربوني إحدى القصائد المراد ترجمتها، تليها الفائزة التي ستقرأ ترجمتيها بالعربية.

علاوة على ذلك، سيتم تقديم مجموعة مختارة من قصص المشاركين في جائزة إنيرجيا مصر، المنشورة على موقع المعهد الثقافي الإيطالي في القاهرة. شهدت المسابقة، التي نظمتها جمعية إنيرجيا الثقافية في ماتيرا بالتعاون مع المعهد في عامي 2022 و 2023، مشاركة عشرين مؤلفًا، كثير منهم طلاب دورة الكتابة الإبداعية للبروفيسور سيلفانا موزاتي. تم جمع القصص، المكتوبة بالإيطالية وحرة الموضوع، في مجموعة مختارات “I racconti”.

أخيرًا، تكريم طلاب أقسام الإيطالية في الجامعات المصرية، الفائزين بمسابقات SLIM 2024 ، التي أطلقها المعهد.

حفل توزيع جوائز لطلاب مدرسة دون بوسكو بالقاهرة، الفائزين بمسابقة المعهد الثقافي الأيطالي حول موضوع SLIM 2024.

يليه ، وفي إطار الاحتفالات بالذكرى السبعمائة لوفاة ماركو بولو (1324-2024) والذكرى السبعمائة والسبعين لميلاده (1254-2024) ، عرض فيلم وثائقي عن ماركو بولو: المسافر العظيم.

الأحد العشرين من  أكتوبر – الساعة السابعة  مساءً – معرض المعهد الثقافي الإيطالي – 

 معرض فني بصري بعنوان (IL RITORNO NEL GIORNO) يتضمن المعرض رسومات ودفاتر سفر للفنانة الإيطالية السويسرية سيغندا دومينيك. يعتمد المفهوم الأصلي للمعرض على فكرة إعادة إنشاء، في مساحة المعرض، المسارات التي سلكتها الفنانة بين هضبة الجيزة ونقوش سقارة وزيارات المتاحف في القاهرة وتورينو. سيقدم المعرض رسومات ودفاتر ومخططات وأعمال تمثل فلسفة سيغندا، مما يعكس موقفها القديم كفنانة ومُواصلة.

الاثنين الحادي والعشرين من أكتوبر – من الساعة التاسعة  صباحًا إلى الساعة الثانية عشر ظهرًا – معرض المعهد الثقافي الأيطالي – 

ورشة عمل الفنانة دومينيك سيغندا

 تُخصص ورشة عمل دومينيك سيغندا للطلاب المصريين من كليات الفنون الجميلة بجامعتي عين شمس والقاهرة. استكشفت سيغندا الثقافة المصرية القديمة والمعاصرة، بزيارة مقابر الفراعنة، مستلهمةً أعمالها الفنية من هذه الزيارات

24th Week of the Italian Language in the World | Italian and the Book: The World between the Lines

• Monday 14 October – 5 pm – IIC Theatre

Opening of a one week book fair at the IIC courtyard dedicated to works translated from Arabic into Italian, in collaboration with the Osiris publishing house. During the event, Dr. Fatma Elzahraa Abdalla will be awarded, winner of the “M’Illumino d’immenso” competition for translators from Italian to Arabic, launched in collaboration with the Swiss Embassy in Egypt and the Rome Libraries. Professor Islam Fawzi will give a speech and two videos will be shown in which the Swiss poet Laura Accerboni reads one of the poems to be translated, followed by the winner who will read her two translations in Arabic. Furthermore, a selection of the stories of the participants in the Energheia Egypt Award will be presented, published on the website of the Italian Cultural Institute of Cairo. The competition, organized in 2022 and 2023 by the Energheia cultural association of Matera in collaboration with the Institute, has witnessed the participation of 20 authors, many of whom are students of the creative writing course of Professor Silvana Muzzatti. The stories, written in Italian and on a free theme, have been collected in the anthology “I racconti”.

Finally, awarding of the students of the Italian departments of Egyptian universities, winners of the SLIM 2024 competitions, launched by the Institute.

Following this, as part of the celebrations for the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo’s death (1324-2024) and the 770th anniversary of his birth (1254-2024), a screening of the documentary film Marco Polo: the great traveler.

• Wednesday 16 October – 6:00 PM – IIC Theatre

Conference: “Translation Projects” by Prof. Eid Abdelrazek.

During an open public debate, a handout will be presented that collects the contributions of advanced-level Italian students for the translations of passages from works such as Vent’anni contro: dall’eredità di Falcone e Borsellino alla trattativa (Caselli-Ingroia), Non chiedermi chi sono (Trapanese), La mia patria sono io (Yasmin), Raccontare ai ragazzi (Contardi), C’era una volta… storie di animali (Mauri), Un giorno diverso (Dominici). Following this, there will be an award ceremony for students of the Department of Italian Studies at Cairo University for their participation in the SLIM 2024 competition.

Award ceremony for the students of the Don Bosco School of Cairo, winners of the IIC competition on the theme of SLIM 2024.

Following this, as part of the celebrations of the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo’s death (1324-2024) and the 770th anniversary of his birth (1254-2024), screening of the documentary film “Marco Polo: the great traveler”.

• Sunday 20 October – 7:00 PM – IIC Gallery

Visual art exhibition, entitled “THE RETURN IN THE DAY”: drawings and travel notebooks by the Italo-Swiss artist Sighanda Dominique. The original concept of the exhibition is based on the idea of recreating, in the exhibition space, the itineraries traveled by the artist between the Giza plateau, the Saqqara necropolis and visits to the museums of Cairo and Turin. The installation will present drawings, notebooks, tables, enlargements and objects that represent Sighanda’s philosophy, reflecting her long-standing attitude as an artist and communicator. The Vice Ambassador of Switzerland in Egypt, Elisabeth Gilgen, will be present.

Dominique Sighanda’s Travel Sketchbook Workshop Dominique Sighanda’s workshop is dedicated to Egyptian students from the Fine Arts faculties of Ain Shams and Cairo Universities. Sighanda has delved into ancient and contemporary Egyptian culture, visiting pharaohs’ tombs and drawing inspiration for her art.
