Using a static camera, Nikolaus Geyrhalter follows the trail of our rubbish across the planet, revealing the endless struggle of human beings to gain control over the vast quantities of waste they collect, shred, bury and burn. The images offer an aesthetic and fascinating journey through the things we try to get rid of.

نفايات علي الشواطيء والجبال – في أعماق المحيطات وفي أعماق الأرض. يدور فيلم “شيء في غير محله” عن القمامة التي انتشرت في أنحاء العالم ووصلت الي أبعد الأماكن علي الكوكب. يتعقب نيكولاوس جيرهالتر آثار القمامة في جميع أنحاء الكوكب بالكاميرا الثابتة ويلقي الضوء علي المعاناة الشديدة للسيطرة علي كميات هائلة من القمامة من حيث الجمع والتفتيت والحرق والدفن. يتيح المصور رحلة ساحرة عبر الأشياء التي نحاول التخلص منها.
