جولة رسم حر بمنطقة الدرب الأحمر مع فريق تراثية | Live Sketching Tour in al-Darb al-Ahmar

بالتعاون مع فريق تراثية تبدأ جولتنا للرسم الحر من باب زويلة، أحد أبواب القاهرة وتنتهي عند مسجد ومدرسة السلطان حسن مرورا بمجموعة متنوعة من المباني التراثية المختلفة بحي الدرب الأحمرمن مساجد وأسبلة وأضرحة ومدارس. سيتم توفير الأدوات اللازمة للمشاركين (أوراق- أقلام – ماركر- بلانشيت)

تأتي هذه الفعالية ضمن برنامج جولات الخليفة من تنظيم جمعية الفكر العمراني، وتخصص جميع الإيرادات لدعم استدامة البرامج التعليمية والمجتمعية للجمعية بمنطقة الخليفة.

Are you familiar with a neighbourhood in Cairo that has been designated by the Royal Society in London as one of their noteworthy communities? Or an aristocratic neighbourhood from the Mamluk era? or the bloody events that took place in Egypt’s history?

‘Be a part of our first tour in 2024, where we explore the Darb al-Ahmar area and discover the stories behind its significant buildings while capturing them through live sketching.’

In collaboration with the Turathiyyah team, our live sketching tour starts at Bab Zuyawla, one of the main gates of Cairo, and finishes at the Sultan Hassan Mosque and School. As we make our way, we’ll have the opportunity to see the various cultural landmarks of the Darb al-Ahmar area, such as mosques, streets, shrines, and schools.

Tools will be available for the participants (markers, papers,pens,clipboards)

This event is a part of al-Khalifa Tours program run by the Built Environment Collective, and all proceeds allocated will support the sustainability of the initiative’s educational and community programs in al-Khalifa neighbourhood.

Cancellation Policy: In case of cancellation before 3:00 PM on Wednesday, January 10th , the registration fees will be fully refunded. However, in case of cancellation starting from Thursday, January 11th , no percentage of the paid amount will be refunded.
