In this lecture, Austrian violinist and music expert Christoph Angerer will guide you through Austria’s classical music history, focusing on Vienna’s golden era, the Viennese Classical Period. Join us on a journey into the enchanting world of Mozart, Haydn, Schubert & Beethoven and let us travel through their lives, their music and their inspirations.

About Christoph Angerer:
Christoph Angerer (*1966) is an Austrian violinist and an expert in the history of music with a special interest in the music of the 18th century. In 1982 he co-founded the ensemble ‘Concilium musicum Wien’. Since then it has given more than 2,300 concerts in 500 cities around the world. From 1985 to 1991, he was a substitute in the orchestra of the Vienna State Opera. Christoph Angerer taught viola d’amore at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna from 1993 to 2012.
