About the author: Walid Fikry is an Egyptian writer and researcher, born in 1980. He studied law at the Faculty of Law, Alexandria University. He has been practicing historical writing since 2009. He has many articles on various websites. He is the author of a number of historical books published by Dar Al-Riwaq, including: “History of a Second Form” (2010) – “History in the Shadow” (2012) – “Unknown Egypt” (2015) – “Blood of the Mamluks” (2016) – “Blood of the Caliphs” ( 2017) “Sacred Legends” (2018) “Days of Blood: From Karbala to the Citadel Massacre” (2019) “The Lords of Evil” (2020) and The Ottoman Crime (2021). One of his goals is to encourage young people to read history, research it and analyze it from different new angles, by presenting it to television programs, including the “present history” program on Sky News Arabia.

نبذة عن الكاتب : وليد فكري كاتب وباحث مصري من مواليد ١٩٨٠، درس القانون بكلية الحقوق بجامعة الإسكندرية. يمارس الكتابة التاريخية منذ عام ٢٠٠٩ . له العديد من المقالات في مختلف المواقع الالكترونية. له عددا من الكتب التاريخية الصادرة عن دار الرواق منها : “تاريخ شكل تاني” (٢٠١٠) – “تاريخ في الظل” (٢٠١٢) – “مصر المجهولة” (٢٠١٥) – “دم المماليك” (٢٠١٦) – “دم الخلفاء ” (٢٠١٧) “أساطير مقدسة” (٢٠١٨) “أيام من دم: من كربلاء إلى مذبحة القلعة ” (٢٠١٩) “ارباب الشر” (٢٠٢٠)و الجريمة العثمانية (٢٠٢١) .

من اهدافه تشجيع الشباب على قراءة التاريخ والبحث فيه وتحليله من زوايا جديدة مختلفة وذلك عن طريق تقديمه لبرامج تلفزيونية منها برنامج ” تاريخ حاضر” على سكاي نيوز عربية ويقدم حاليا برنامج ” قعدة تاريخ” من انتاج شركة ديجيتال ستوديو ويعرض حاليا على قناة CBC.
