IICinema: El Alamein la Linea del Fuoco

In El Alamein, between 23 October and 4 November 1942, the German-Italian Army suffered its first major defeat. Against the British and alongside the Germans there are the Italians, poorly armed, but willing, capable of heroism against a too strong enemy and a contemptuous ally. The Italian army has fully fulfilled its duty in the terrible battle that in eleven days of clashes left 25,000 victims and 30,000 prisoners on the ground. This film aims to tell the daily life of those front-line soldiers, little unknown heroes. Not the history, therefore, but the stories. Stories of real men, stories of Italian soldiers.

Ad El Alamein, tra il 23 Ottobre e il 4 Novembre 1942, l’Armata italo-tedesca subisce la prima grande sconfitta. Contro gli inglesi e accanto ai tedeschi ci sono gli italiani, male armati, ma volenterosi, capaci di eroismo contro un nemico troppo forte ed un alleato sprezzante. ‘esercito italiano ha compiuto fino in fondo il suo dovere nella terribile battaglia che in undici giorni di scontri ha lasciato sul terreno 25000 vittime e 30000 prigionieri. Questo film vuole raccontare la vita quotidiana di quei soldati di prima linea, piccoli eroi sconosciuti. Non la Storia, quindi, ma le storie. Storie di uomini veri, storie di soldati italiani.
