EcoKino: Sustainability Docs Marathon | إيكوكينو: ماراثون أفلام وثائقية بيئية

DEDI Club is hosting a documentary marathon throughout the summer for sustainability films, subtitled or dubbed into Arabic, in collaboration with Banalstic Egypt. The films are exploring an array of issues related to the effects of manufacturing and consumption of plastic on our health and environment to the empty promises on change of big corporations and our role as individuals. We are also using this opportunity to host discussions after each screening to explore what can be done and what actions are already being taken on a local and global level.

The screenings will take place at the DEDI Office in Zamalek on the following days from 6pm to 8pm including a discussion:

– Wednesday, 6th of July: CocaCola Plastic Promises

– Wednesday, 20th of July: The Recycling Myth

– Thursday, 28th of July: We the Guinea Pigs

– Wednesday, 17th of August: IMMUTO (Change)

تطرح الأفلام مجموعة من القضايا المتعلقة بآثار تصنيع البلاستيك واستهلاكه على صحتنا والبيئة المحيطة بنا، فضلا عن الوعود غير المتحققة للقوانين والآليات لحماية البيئة والتوعية بمخاطر التغير المناخي. وتبحث عن أدوارنا كأفراد خلال كل ذلك.

يستضيف النادي مجموعة من النقاشات بعد كل عرض عما يمكن القيام به والإجراءات التي يتم اتخاذها بالفعل على المستوى المحلي والعالمي وذلك بتيسير من أعضاء مبادرة بانلاستيك.

سيتم عرض الأفلام خلال الأيام التالية من الساعة السادسة حتى الثامنة مساء بمقر ديدي بالزمالك:

الأربعاء ٢٠ يوليو: أكذوبة إعادة التدوير –

الخميس ٢٨ يوليو: نحن فئران التجارب –

الأربعاء ١٧ أغسطس : إيموتو (التغير) –

Il DEDI Club ospita durante l’estate una maratona di documentari per film sulla sostenibilità, sottotitolati o doppiati in arabo, in collaborazione con Banalstic Egypt. I film esplorano una serie di questioni relative agli effetti della produzione e del consumo di plastica sulla nostra salute e sull’ambiente, alle vuote promesse sul cambiamento delle grandi aziende e al nostro ruolo come individui. Stiamo anche sfruttando questa opportunità per ospitare discussioni dopo ogni proiezione per esplorare cosa si può fare e quali azioni vengono già intraprese a livello locale e globale.

Le proiezioni si svolgeranno presso l’Ufficio DEDI di Zamalek nei seguenti giorni dalle 18:00 alle 20:00, inclusa una discussione:

– Mercoledì 6 luglio: CocaCola Plastic Promises

– Mercoledì 20 luglio: Il mito del riciclaggio

– Giovedì 28 luglio: Noi Cavie

– Mercoledì 17 agosto: IMMUTO (Cambia)
