  A collaborative project that consists of the two Alexandrian artists Bassem Diaa (Oud player, music composer) and Amro Zidan (electronic producer, music composer).

It is an experimental electronic musical project that is inspired by the experiences and emotions that the artists have been through during their upbringing, influenced by the psychological dimensions of the environment they grew up in. Connecting the residues of the past and it’s effect on the present and the future using various methods of music creation such as improvisation or mere experimentation regardless any stereotypical musical templates or restrictions.

– About “El A’sara” Album : An experimental music album that was produced with the support of Behna el Wekalah and Drosos Foundation.

El A’sara is the debut studio album by the musical project Ein El Akl of the Alexandrian artists Bassem Diaa (Oud player, music composer) and Amro Zidan (electronic producer, music composer). This album mimics the experiences, emotions and perceptions that the artists had during their lives through the combination of psychedelic electronic sounds, pop-cultural rhythms and several diverse implementations of the Oud instrument as a blended musical element.

مشروع مشترك بين إثنين من الفنانين السكندريين وهما المؤلف الموسيقي وعازف العود (باسم ضياء) والمؤلف الموسيقي والموزع الإلكتروني (عمرو زيدان) وهو مشروع موسيقى إلكترونية تجريبية يحاكي تجارب ومشاعر إنسانية سواء كانت مبنية على أبعاد نفسية من التنشئة أو البيئة والمحيط أو على المدرك من التجارب, ويربط بين المترسخ من الماضي وتأثيره على الحاضر و المستقبل, وذلك بإستخدام طرق عديدة في التأليف الموسيقي سواء بالإرتجال أو التجريب دون التقيد بالقوالب الموسيقية. البوم (العَصَّارَةْ) ألبوم موسيقى تجريبية تم إنتاجه بدعم من وكالة بهنا ومؤسسة دروسوس تحت إسم (العَصَّارةْ) وهو أول ألبومات مشروع (عين العقل) الذي شارك في تأسيسه كل من المؤلف الموسيقي وعازف العود (باسم ضياء) والمؤلف الموسيقي والموزع الإلكتروني (عمرو زيدان) يحاكي الألبوم التجارب والمشاعر والمفاهيم المدركة التي عاشها الفنانان وذلك من خلال الجمع بين أصوات إلكترونية مصممه ذات طابع سايكدليك وإيقاعات مستوحاه من الموسيقى الشعبية وإستخدامات متعددة لألة العود كعنصر متداخل وليس منفصل عن الموسيقى ككل

  Un progetto collaborativo che si compone dei due artisti alessandrini Bassem Diaa (suonatore di Oud, compositore musicale) e Amro Zidan (produttore elettronico, compositore musicale).

È un progetto musicale elettronico sperimentale che si ispira alle esperienze e alle emozioni che gli artisti hanno vissuto durante la loro educazione, influenzati dalle dimensioni psicologiche dell’ambiente in cui sono cresciuti. Collegare i residui del passato e il suo effetto sul presente e il futuro utilizzando vari metodi di creazione musicale come l’improvvisazione o la semplice sperimentazione indipendentemente da qualsiasi modello o restrizione musicale stereotipata.
