“Nile et un Nuits” exhibition

EXHIBITION | The latest IFE exhibition in Mounira is open:

“Nile et un Nuits”! We invite you from today until July 31st to embark on the footsteps of Maxime Du Camp and his partner, Gustave Flaubert, to discover the first photographs taken of Egypt. This exhibition is an opportunity to discover another artist: Qarm Qart, an Italian artist based in Egypt who, drawing inspiration from the works of Maxime Du camp, plays with the eras and imaginations. The “Niles et un Nuits” of yesterday and today are in dialogue together, here in Cairo, as part of a program of the French Institute of Egypt dedicated to Flaubert, carried by the Normandy region with the “Flaubert 21” event, on the occasion of the bicentenary of the author.

ندعوكم من الأن و حتي الواحد و الثلاثين من يوليو لمشاهدة الصور الأولي من معرض الفنان ماكسيم دو كامب و شريكة الفنان جوستاف فلوبيرت لنكتشف أولي الصور التي تم التقاطها لمصر

ويعد  المعرض فرصة لاكتشاف فنان آخرو هو قرم قرط ، فنان إيطالي مقيم في مصر ، يستلهم أعماله من أعمال ماكسيم دو كامب ، ويخلط بين العصور والتخيلات.

تجري جماعة “نايلز وأون نويز”بين  الإمس واليوم هنا في القاهرة حوارًا معًا ، كجزء من برنامج المعهد الفرنسي في مصر المخصص لفلوبير ، الذي تنفذه منطقة نورماندي مع حدث “فلوبير 21” ، في بمناسبة الذكرى المئوية الثانية للمؤلف.!

  MOSTRA | Aperta l’ultima mostra IFE a Mounira: “Nile et un Nuits”! Vi invitiamo da oggi fino al 31 luglio a intraprendere le orme di Maxime Du Camp e del suo partner, Gustave Flaubert, per scoprire le prime fotografie scattate all’Egitto. Questa mostra è l’occasione per scoprire un altro artista: Qarm Qart, artista italiano con sede in Egitto che, traendo ispirazione dalle opere di Maxime Du camp, gioca con le epoche e l’immaginazione. I “Niles et un Nuits” di ieri e di oggi dialogano insieme, qui al Cairo, nell’ambito di un programma dell’Istituto francese d’Egitto dedicato a Flaubert, portato avanti dalla regione della Normandia con l’evento “Flaubert 21”, sul occasione del bicentenario dell’autore.
